Horseheads Hitmen Bolster Roster with Local High School Talent

The Horseheads Hitmen, a prominent baseball team in the area, have further strengthened their roster with the signing of three outstanding local athletes from Elmira High School. Asthyn Knoll, Jack Stemerman, and Ben Rhode bring impressive skills and promise to the team.

Asthyn Knoll, a 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher, has demonstrated remarkable craft and athleticism during his high school career. Knoll will continue his baseball journey at Cayuga Community College, where his talent on the mound promises to be a significant asset for the Hitmen.

Jack Stemerman is a versatile player who excels both as an outfielder and a right-handed pitcher. Stemerman's two-way abilities and dedication on the field have earned him a spot at Cayuga Community College, where he will continue to hone his skills and contribute to the Hitmen's success.

Ben Rhode, recognized for his athleticism and utility on the field, adds depth and adaptability to the Hitmen's lineup. Rhode's prowess as an outfielder and all-around utility player will be further developed at Barry University, showcasing his commitment to the game and determination to succeed.
