The Horseheads Hitmen are thrilled to announce the signing of standout right-handed pitcher Zach Sperger. A native of Lansing, NY, Sperger brings an impressive list of accomplishments to the Hitmen and is set to transfer to Ithaca College in the fall.
Zach Sperger has demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication on the mound throughout his high school career. With a remarkable 17-3 record, he has accumulated an impressive 187 strikeouts. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious ESPN Ithaca Baseball Player of the Year award. Sperger’s leadership and talent were instrumental in pitching Lansing High School to a State Championship appearance, further showcasing his ability to excel under pressure.
